Keeping It Fresh

Recently, we were asked by Adams Homes Regional Manager Bryan Adams to look at four of their most popular models, (1348, 1820, 1970 and 2200) to see if we could improve on the elevations to add to their portfolio.  With their Regional Office being in the Tampa market, where “Old World” architecture is so prevalent, we decided to play off of the time proven design of Ybor City.  Though not wanting to do a complete plan change, we used design elements in the elevation that would work seamlessly within the existing plan structure.  By keeping the footprints the same, Adams Homes will be able to use these new schemes alongside of their existing elevations within their current subdivisions throughout the Florida market.

We also reviewed their 2020 floor plan, where we took the liberty to redesign the living side of this home.  With the current trend moving to more “family and friends”, we completely removed the Living Room area, increased the size of the Kitchen and moved it closer to the front to open to the already large Family Room, which is now 15 x 28.  With the large rear window and French door bringing in plenty of natural light, this home invites great entertaining for the family that purchases this home. We were able to increase the Owner’s Bedroom, by eliminating the entry and reducing the oversize walk-in closet. Always a popular model, we feel that with these changes and its already great features, 2020 s.f., 4 bedroom / 2 baths, that this model is a perfect fit for a growing family.
