Mike Keesee at the GOBA Installation & Awards


Last week our fearless leader, Mike Keesee, was presented his Associate Vice President Plaque and a Presidential Citation Award from the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA). The annual event and board installation was held at the Mezz in beautiful downtown Orlando.

Mike is the funder and CEO of Keesee Associates and its sister company, FDS Engineering. Mike has more than 30 in the industry and has served on GOBA’s board where he has been a longtime member.

About the Greater Orlando Builders Association: GOBA is the authority, educator and promoter of the housing and building industry. Their purpose is to represent and promote the building industry, encourage higher standard practices through education, monitor and take a proactive role in governmental and regulatory activities that impact the construction industry within Greater Orlando, as well as at the State and National levels.

Keesee Honored with “Best Website”

According to the Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards, you’re visiting the “Best Website”,! Last Month, Keesee Associates was humble to accept this honor, and we could not be more thrilled to have been recognized. This year’s event theme was “A Night in Paris” and was held at the Double Tree by Hilton, in Downtown Orlando.

About GOBA: The Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) is the authority, educator and promoter of the housing and building industry serving more than 700 members.  Since 1953, GOBA has served the construction industry in Seminole, Orange and Osceola Counties including its cities and is part of the National Organization, National Association of Home Builders.

GOBA introduced the MAME Awards (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) in 1983. Every year the highly anticipated, annual event showcases the sales and marketing efforts of the best of the best in the home building industry.

Principal Designer Inducted into AIBD’s College of Fellows


Our Principal Designer, David Pillsbury, was inducted into the AIBD’s College of Fellows recently at their annual meeting held in Denver, CO.   The College of Fellows is the highest body of members within the Institute.  These members are those who contribute to the advancement of the profession with excellence in design and service.

David made remarkable strides for both the organization and the industry, serving as the AIBD National President in 2014 and 2015. As a Designer, David is in the business of making his client’s design dreams become a reality. He has created award- winning designs for over 30 years.


About AIBD – The American Institute of Building Design is the only nationally recognized organization dedicated to supporting and promoting residential design professionals. AIBD members have specialized knowledge and expertise in residential design and are held to a high level of professionalism and ethics in their business practices. The AIBD was founded in California in 1950 and has since chartered Societies all across the United States.

Meet the Architect


Last year, James A. Garritani, RA came on board as Keesee’s VP of Architecture and brought with him over 25 years of experience on projects; including commercial, residential, office, retail, medical & education facilities, industrial, hotels, condos, and multi-family units. James’ talents and philosophy of design was a match to our firm and will take our serviceability to exciting new levels.

In welcoming James, we expanded our services to offer a broader spectrum of design in this ever-changing market. We are excited to see what with new changing can mean for our clients and we are proud to be able to unify the talents of professionals who are dedicated to excellence in design.

Keesee Women Build 2016

The Keesee ladies participated in the 2016 Habitat for Humanity Women Build event. They put their muscles to good use for a great cause, surpassing their fundraising goals. 

This program builds homes and communities, bringing together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide.

Keesee has formed a great relationship with Habitat for Humanity over the years. Partnering with them in several arenas- designed homes, provided construction documents, and participated in events such as the Builder’s Blitz.
